In line with the TPPA 2022, the NSA ensures that funding is provided to enable the Centre perform its functions effectively and efficiently. In order to ensure due process is followed in line with the Fina ncia I Act and other fina nee regulatory bodies, the NCTC’s Department of Fina nee performs the following functions:
- Maintains cash and vote books and other required accounting records to show true and fair statements of accounts for funds al located to the Centre.
- Handles the payment of the Centre’s expenses such as operations cost, electricity bills, refuse disposal bills, OTA, entertainment and other miscellaneous bills with the exception of personnel’s monthly allowances and other financial benefits like estacodewhich fall under the purviewofONSA.
- Maintains a tenders’ board which serves as the Centre’s Procurement Committee in
Ii ne with the Public Procurement Act 2009 and Fina ncia I Regulations 2007. - Prepares yearly budgets consisting of personnel emolument estimates as well as overhead and capital estimates in compliance with the directives of the Ministry of Finance, Budget and National Planning.
