NC-NCTC Meets Aviation Security Stakeholders

In furtherance of the Nigeria-UK Aviation Security Strategic Policy Dialogue in January, 2022, the National Coordinator, National Counter Terrorism Centre, Office of the National Security Adviser, Rear Admiral YEM Musa (rtd), PhD, met with Aviation Security Stakeholders at the Centre on Wednesday 6 March, 2024.

The National Coordinator thanked the UK government for its efforts at supporting the safety of the Nigerian Air Space, while adding that the purpose of the meeting was to discuss the best ways to get values for the support being received from the UK through the Department for Transport (DfT).

The Aviation Security Stakeholders team, chaired by National Coordinator, is made up of representatives of Ministry of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA), Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN), Nigeria Airspace Management Agency (NAMA), UK Department for Transport (DfT) and the National Counter Terrorism Centre, Office of the National Security Adviser.
