National Coordinator Hosts Consortium Partners on COMITAS Project

The National Coordinator, National Counter Terrorism Centre, Office of the National Security Adviser, Rear Admiral YEM Musa (rtd) received a Consortium of 3 International Partners comprising the International Organisation for Migration (IOM), Search for Common Ground, and Mercy Corps, at the Centre, in Abuja, on 4 March, 2024.

The Partners are implementing the EU funded project titled: Contribution to the Mitigation of Conflict Over Natural Resources Between Farmers and Herders Communities in Taraba and Adamawa States (COMITAS). The team was led by Mr. Amos Njoroge Nderi, Project Manager and focal person of the COMITAS project.

They were at NCTC to discuss the draft of a policy brief titled “Solution pathways for communities affected by the farmer-herder crisis in Nigeria towards a Harmonious Coexistence: A Policy Brief on the Farmer-Herder Conflict in Nigeria.”
