Hedayah seeks Collaboration with NCTC

The National Counter Terrorism Centre (NCTC), Office of the National Security Adviser (ONSA) received a delegation from the Hedayah, an
International Centre for Countering Extremism and Violent Extremism based in Abu Dhabi on 22 November 2023.

The purpose of the visit was to seek areas of collaboration between the two Centres, especially in the area of Preventing and Countering Violent Extremism (PCVE).

Participants at the meeting were the National Coordinator, NCTC, Rear Admiral YEM Musa (rtd), who was represented by the Chief of Staff, Cdre. B.M. Sule, 3 PCVE Staff Officers and Staff of the Legal Department of the Centre; while the Hedayah’s team was represented by Ms Irene Belmonte (the STRIVE Programme
Manager – Team leader) and Mr Hatem Selem Awwad Shatnawithe (Capacity Building Manager).
