While reuniting the children with their parents on Tuesday at the Office of the National Security Adviser (ONSA), the National Security Adviser, Mallam Nuhu Ribadu, expressed the sincere sympathy of the Federal Government for the loss of one of the children while in captivity, noting that the issue of kidnapping is a tragedy and assured that the Government would continue to intensify efforts to rid the country of all forms of criminality.

Earlier, the father of the rescued children, Dr. Musa Dutse Gimba, on behalf of the family, expressed gratitude to the Office of the National Adviser (ONSA), the military and the security forces, for demonstrating exceptional professionalism and bravery, in successfully conducting the rescue operation.
