The leaderships of the National Counter Terrorism Centre (NCTC), Office of the National Security Adviser (ONSA) and the Nigerian Financial Intelligence Unit (NFIU) have reiterated commitment to stiffen the Counter Terrorism-Financing (CTF) efforts for the country.

National Coordinator of the Centre, Maj Gen Adamu Garba Laka reiterated the commitment together with the Director/CEO of the NFIU, Hafsat Abubakar Bakari on Thursday, December 5, 2024 during a courtesy call to the NFIU Headquarters in Abuja.

While expressing the achievements so far recorded through the existing collaboration such as the joint multi-agency task force, both leaders pledged to further explore other areas of collaboration and deploy modern technologies in the battle against terrorism-financing.
